Now that we are back I have to brag a little! Long post!

Here's why...
Heather is a travel agent and I have never used a travel agent before. I like to think I am pretty good at planning trips, BUT, there was something about our trip that made me say, go ahead and use a travel agent! Boy am I glad we did!!
We know Heather through BA Show Choir and I thought with her dedication and passion, her communication skills, and her get-it-done attitude that I had seen through show choir it would serve us well to use her!
The original itinerary for our cruise had us starting in Lisbon, Portugal with one port stop in Portugal and then continuing through Spain. This was one of the main reasons we chose this cruise. We also chose to do airfare with NCL as it was a good deal. Once our flight info was provided to us, we upgraded our seats to exactly what we wanted, with a million questions answered by Heather! She helped us find all the different booking numbers/confirmation numbers we needed in order to do those upgrades, even calling AA herself to figure one out (I told her we would do that, but she already had it done!). This was around this past Dec/Jan. Perfect!! We were thrilled!!😁
In April Portugal was dropped from our itinerary completely and we would now be leaving from Tarrogona, Spain. No more Portugal. Our whole flight itinerary, to Portugal and even back home from Spain where there were no disruptions in the itinerary, was cancelled!! 😳. We had to wait for NCL to rebook the entire thing. The good part was that since we booked everything through NCL it was on them to get us there and back. We stressed about the money we spent on the upgrades, but Heather was on it!! She got refunds for us with AA, and quickly! Iberia wouldn't budge so we were out that part, but AA is where we spent the bulk. Yay!! But, for me, someone with massive travel anxiety, it was HUGE to have Heather taking care of it all!! She kept telling me, I've got this, and she did!
I had so many questions and tried really hard not to annoy her with texts. I even took note of the time of day and what day it was as to not disrupt her personal life too much. She was super nice about it all. She LOVES her job and she's good at it!!
I still love planning our own vacations, but this one was a little daunting to me, the logistics of it all, and having Heather basically do everything gave me such peace and a sense of calm. I was really able to focus on packing and figuring out our excursions, you know, the fun stuff!! It didn't cost us any extra to use her either!
Need a travel agent?! Heather is your person! She posts amazing deals to beautiful places all the time! We will definitely use her again when we need an agent!
